Kathryn Lopez, MA
Nationwide Perinatal Coach
When becoming parents, whether it be a new or familiar experience, we are given a unique opportunity to deepen our connection with ourselves and our loved ones. Simultaneously, it can also be a time of sudden and unforeseen hardship that can threaten our identity, relationships, and quality of life.
After becoming a new mom myself, my passion for working with women and families in the perinatal time of life was set into motion. In 2017 I received a Master’s Degree of Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA then completed the Perinatal Mental Health Certification Program (PMH-C) and training within Sex Therapy. For the past 7 years I have been serving individuals, couples, and families in navigating the diverse complexities of human relationships, addressing emotional underlying issues, and better achieving mental wellbeing.
I specialize in working with Mamas during both pregnancy and postpartum in managing and overcoming worry as well as helping individuals and couples find clarity within sex and intimacy. There are many unique challenges that can arise after bringing a new baby into the family system. I experienced first hand how the right support made a tremendous difference for me and I seek to be that difference for others.
