You planned, prepared and hoped. What does it mean if the day your baby was born wasn't the best day of

your life?

It feels like everyone else has smiling photos of their first moments. It can feel so hard to process and heal. This group will help you find yourself on the other side of a difficult or traumatic birth experience.

You will be joined by others who get it where you're coming from. Gain expert guidance for the next

stage of your healing.

Group Outline:

- Week 1 – “All The Feels” – Birth Trauma and Duality of Emotions

- Week 2 – “Traumatic Parenting” – The experience of parenting after a bad birth

- Week 3 – “The Price Of Trauma” – Processing grief and loss

- Week 4 – “They Mean Well” - Navigating relationships, boundaries and care

- Week 5 – “Own Your Story” – Healing the story of your child’s birth

- Week 6 – “Better Days Ahead” – Posttraumatic Growth

When: Mondays at 10am Pacific/ 1:00pm Eastern Starting March 18 Registration ends March 11

Led by Krysta Dancy

Krysta is a licensed therapist, birth doula and certified birth professional and educator. She has been working in the field of fertility-related mental health for close to 20 years. She is the founder and CEO of Dancy Perinatal- an online support space for pregnant and postpartum families. Her passion and professional expertise for fertility-related mental health make her a sought-after speaker/educator for professionals and families alike.
