Being a therapist is an honor which has allowed me the opportunity to be a witness to my client’s deepest wounds and to walk alongside them in their healing. As a mother of two and someone who experienced birth trauma myself, I bring a deeply personal understanding, passion and sensitivity to Perinatal work.Â
I am mindful that each experience is as unique as each of my clients and deserves a place to be nurtured and supported. In my 10 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have worked in early intervention with children birth to 5 years old and their caregivers. I have also used my training to assist individuals who experienced fertility challenges and multiple miscarriages, explore becoming parents through open adoption. My areas of specialty include birth trauma, prenatal and postpartum transitions, grief, infertility and attachment.Â
