Parenting Academy: A Framework for Navigating Life as a Parent

Every parent wants their children to succeed, but sometimes we’re just too tired, don’t know where to start or think it’s too late to start. First of all, please know that you’re not alone! As P.J. O’Rourke famously said, “Everybody knows how to raise children, except the people who have them.” Parenting is hard. Sometimes my husband and I look at our two girls and are amazed that we are responsible to raise, protect and teach these two little humans. That’s a lot of responsibility, isn’t it?

Here is the good news! This Parenting Academy will provide the framework to help parents of kids ages 2-8 raise responsible and cooperative children who will thrive in any environment they are placed in. Does that sound good?

In this 5-hr intensive course, you will learn the following:

• The 3 types of Parenting Styles
• Understanding your kid’s brain development
• Discipline Skills: Helping your kids learn from the natural consequences of their choices and disciplining them through the logical consequences of their behavior
• Nurturing Attachment: teaching them communication and problem-solving skills
• Fostering Independence in Our Children

The journey to parenthood is one of the most meaningful and life-changing

experiences we go through as human beings. It is a journey that can be filled with

great joy, but at times it can also be a heavy, heartbreaking, and even lonely road

to travel.

Experiencing adversities often leave us feeling broken and uncertain as to how to

move forward. It is my desire to come alongside families to support them in

meaningful ways, as they courageously press on. My strong belief is that you can

navigate this road and arrive at a place full of wisdom, meaning, and beauty.
