According to research over half of families want more information about sex during pregnancy and postpartum and up to 88% of couples experience sexual issues after birth. Learn about assessments, common issues, treatments, and resources to shift this for your patients.

This class- led by sex and intimacy expert Rebecca Johnson, LMFT gives you tools and information you need to support your patients! So much can change during the perinatal period of a woman's life, especially around sex and intimacy but so often this gets overlooked and under discussed.

CEP Details

*Krysta Dancy-Cabeal is a continuing education provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CEP17110. Nursing contact hours can be applied to most childbirth educator and doula certifications as well as the Certified Professional Midwife credential (please verify with your certifying body). These seminars have been approved for a total of 2 contact hours.

About the Instructor

Rebecca Johnson, LMFT is passionate about the field of mental health and after spending 13 years in the field with the last 8 years practicing therapy, her passion for supporting perinatal families in all stages of their growth has only increased. She is blessed to be the mother of 2 beautiful young children and an amazing bonus daughter. She understands the many challenges of blended families and navigating the complexities of parenting with different cultural backgrounds.

Rebecca believes therapy is a relationship between people and works through connection, understanding, and vulnerability. She continues to be amazed at the strength, resiliency, vulnerability, discovery, and insight that arises for so many during the perinatal time.  She has additional specialized training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and is currently completing hours for AASECT Sex Therapy Certification.
