Description

The desire to have a child can be an emotionally and physically challenging journey!

Couples and individuals facing infertility and infertility-related issues often find themselves isolated and at a loss.

How do you cope with the many emotions and stressors? 

This workshop (taught by a therapist expert!) will 

  • touch on common feelings that individuals and couples experience
  • offer real strategies to cope with the waiting that is asked of you
  • provide a sense of hopefulness to a process that can often feel lonely and overwhelming

Led by Tricia Crannell

Tricia is a therapist, mom of two young adult daughters, and birth trauma survivor. She uses both her professional training and personal experience with birth trauma to bring a deep understanding and sensitivity to her Perinatal work.

She is mindful that every life experience is as unique as each of her clients and deserves space to be heard and supported. She strives to do this, by nurturing a warm, authentic, non-judgmental relationship where you can begin to take the first steps towards healing and sharing your story.

In her 10 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist, she has worked in early intervention with children birth to 5 years old and with their caregivers. She also uses her training to assist individuals who experienced fertility challenges and multiple miscarriages, explore becoming parents through open adoption.

Her areas of specialty include birth trauma, prenatal and postpartum transitions, infertility, pregnancy loss, attachment, parenting, adoption. She integrates mindfulness practices, person-centered therapy, attachment theory, active listening, visualization, as strategies to support clients in reflecting and make meaning of their lived experiences.
