Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you are finding time for yourself and exploring how therapy, and myself as a therapist, can help you in your journey.

I have been working in this field for over thirteen years and have had time to develop my personal style, skills, and interventions that will support you along the way. I also recognize that each and everyone's processes is different and unique. I understand how life can be challenging and especially during the perinatal time we can feel overwhelmed by it all.

 

Through my own lived experience with a miscarriage and postpartum struggles, I get how lonely and emotionally draining it can be. I remember clearly the feeling of a black hole pulling me in with no end in sight. I also know this time can be empowering, inspiring, and life giving.  I know with support and resources we can find hope and perspective that lead us out of that darkness. My hope is to come walk alongside you during this journey. To pull from all my resources as a therapist and as a human as I support you in finding your path to healing and restoration.
 

My emphasis in EMDR for the last five years has given me the skills and continued growth to help heal women and men who experience life changing traumatic events. Trauma can take us quickly to grief, depression, anxiety, shame and more. In therapy we can address many topics with a variety of treatment approaches: CBT, Experiential Therapy, Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and DBT.
