Despite all the things on your seemingly never-ending to-do list, you’ve taken the step of reaching out for support and found yourself here - and I am so glad to have you. They say it takes a village, and they aren’t wrong. There is no step in parenthood that we are meant to take alone, yet that supportive village can be hard to find. From prenatal planning to perinatal navigation to postpartum and parenting, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

As a planner and a worrier, I thought I was so prepared for becoming a mom. Then I started trying to get pregnant and realized just how little control we have over this transformative transition into parenthood. And just how important it is to have access to empathetic, validating, and well-informed voices as we navigate it. My approach as a therapist is to provide you with just that - a warm and non-judgmental space to explore your shifting identity and everyday tools that work for you in managing the hard parts, like heightened anxiety, depressive periods, ambivalence around pregnancy, balancing work and home, or finding that ever-elusive parenting “groove".

Drawing on my education in social work, background working across multiple mental health settings, and my own experience of being a mom to toddler twins, I bring an integrative and individualized approach to my practice - meaning I will pull from different theories and approaches to find what works best for you. During a session, that often looks like not only talking through your experiences, but also exploring systemic influences and practicing body-based exercises, such as breathing, mindfulness, and visualization strategies. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and certified in PC-CARE, a behavioral parent-child therapy model out of the University of California, Davis.
