“Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” — Brené Brown
I'm so glad you're here, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
My path into parenthood began while I was both a military member and a military spouse. During this season of life, I experienced birth trauma and began a personal journey through postpartum anxiety and depression. Like many parents, I didn’t immediately recognize what I was going through. In the military community—where strength and resilience are deeply valued—it can feel especially hard to open up about emotional struggles. That experience helped shape my deep empathy for parents navigating mental health challenges, particularly in systems where seeking help can feel complicated.
After transitioning out of military service, I felt called to return to school and become a therapist so I could walk alongside others in their own healing journeys. As a mother of five, and someone who has lived through birth trauma, PICU stays, and the realities of parenting a child with medical complexities, I bring both clinical expertise and heartfelt personal understanding to my work.
I specialize in trauma recovery, parenting stress, military family dynamics, and supporting parents of children with medical needs. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your lived experience. Side by side, we’ll explore your challenges, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that support your healing and growth. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered—just as you are.
When I’m not working, I’m with my kids—adventuring outdoors, reading together, or embracing the beautiful chaos of family life. I believe in living with intention, resilience, and connection, and I look forward to bringing that spirit into the work we do together.
